PRISON DEPARTMENT.
No. S. 334. It is hereby notified, that separate tenders in triplicate, which should be sealed and clearly marked "Tender for the collection of Swill", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 26th September, 1938, for the collection of swill from the Hong Kong Prison, Stanley, for one year from 1st November, 1938.
No tender will be considered unless the person tendering produces a receipt to the effect that he has deposited with the Accountant-General the sum of $10 as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if such person refuses to carry out his tender in the event of his tender being accepted. Deposits will be returned when the name of the successful tenderer is published.
