PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.

No. S. 294.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Engine House at Hung Hom Wireless Station", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 6th day of September, 1938. The work consists of the erection of a brick and concrete one storey building.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, the sum of $300 with the Accountant-General which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention monéy.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
