No. 8. 194.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the Lining, Sheathing and Welding of 21" diameter pipes for the Cross Harbour Mains", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 11th day of July, 1938.

The work consists of processing and assembling of steel pipe shells for two 21" diameter submerged pipelines across Hong Kong Harbour.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, with the Accountant-General, the sum of $5,000 in cash.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office. The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.
