No. S. 188.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Sextons Quarters, New Kowloon Cemetery No. 7", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 11th day of July, 1938. The work consists of the erection of a block of quarters in brick and
concrete.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General which sum will be retained for a period of six months from the date of completion of the works in lieu of the usual retention money.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

No. S. 189.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate which should be clearly marked "Tender for Reconstruction of King Shan Wharf and Alterations to Fire Float Pier", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 11th day of July, 1938.
The work comprises the alteration of one landing, decking over of a second landing, construction of timber roof (approx. 68′ 6′′ × 20′), erection of hardwood fence, gates and ticket offices, together with the reconstruction of King Shan Wharf and other con- tingent works.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, a sum of $500 with the Accountant-General.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
