́OTICE is hereby given that W. A. Sheaffer Pen Company, a corporation duly or- ganized and existing under the laws of the State of Delaware, located in the City of Fort Madison, State of Iowa, United States of America, Manufacturers, have on the 18th day of November, 1937, applied for the registration in Hong Kong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Marks:-

in the name of W. A. Sheaffer Pen Company, who claim to be the proprietors thereof.
The said trade mark (1) has been used by the Applicants in respect of fountain pens, mechanical pencils, writing fluids, ink ̋ and adhesives in Class 39 since the month of March in the year 1926.
The said trade mark (2) has been used by the Applicants in respect of fountain pens and mechanical pencils in Class 39 since the month of March in the year 1926.

Such trade marks "SHEAFFER'S " und **LIFETIME are deemed to be distinctive of the Applicants goods in Hong Kong by Order of the Court pursuant to Section 9 (5) of the Trade Marks Ordinance 1909.
Facsimiles of such trade marks can be seen at the Offices of the Registrar of Trade Marks of Hong Kong and of the undersigned.

The Trade Marks have not hitherto been used by the Applicants, but it is their intention to use Trade Mark No. 1 in respect of photographic plates and films sensitized in Class 1, in respect of photographic cameras in Class 8 and photographic papers sensitized in Class 39, Trade Marks Nos. 2, 4 and 5 in respect of photographic papers sensitized in Class 39, Trade Mark No. 3 in respect of photographic papers in Class 39, Trade Mark No. 6 in respect of electrical insulating material of synthetic resin made up into sheets, foils and tapes in Class 50, and Trade Mark No. 7 in respect of photographic films sensitized in Class 1.
Trade Mark No. 1 in classes 1, 8 and 39 are to be associated with one another. The said Trade Mark No. 1 in Class 1 is also to be associated with Trade Marks Nos 382-387 of 1924, 403 of 1924, 41 of 1930, 284 of 1932, in Class 8 with Trade Marks Nos. 69 of 1926, 1 and 55 of 1929, and in Class 39 with Trade Marks Nos. 226 of 1928 and 2 of 1929.
