No. S. 112.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Demolition of Buildings at Arsenal Yard", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Tuesday, the 19th day of April, 1938. The work consists of the demolition and removal from site of certain buildings situated in and near the Arsenal Yard, Queen's Road.
As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit, in cash, the sum of $1,000 with the Accountant-General.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.
For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.
Firing practice will be carried out from D'Aguilar on 19th and 21st April, 1938, commencing at 0900 hours each day.
Alternative date-20th April, 1938. Firing Area "B" will be affected.
In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.

NOTIFICATION OF FIRING PRACTICE SEAWARDS.
Firing practice will take place seawards from the neighbourhood of Ping Long Wan on 1st May, 1938, between the hours of 0900 and 1500.
The area in which firing will take place is bounded by the following:-
South point of Jin Island, Collinson Head, (Bluff Island), Steepcliff Head (Basalt Island), Trio Islands, Lung Ha-wan Point, Ngam Tau Sha, to South point of Shelter Island thence to South point of Jin Island.
