N pursuance of Section 3 of the Fraudulent Transfer of Business Ordinance No. 25 of 1923, Notice is hereby given that The Hong kong Import & Export Co.. carrying on busi- ness of importers, exporters and commission agents, at 4, Queen's Road Central, in the City of Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong, here- inafter called "the Transferor ", has agreed to transfer the business of the said The Hongkong Import & Export Co., together with its goodwill, trade marks, agencies, stock-in-trade, samples, furniture fixture, book-debts, and effects to S. Shewan & Co., of 4, Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong, hereinafter called "the Trans- feree "on the 15th day of March, 1938.

The Transferee is carrying on the said busi- ness at 4, Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong under the same name of The Hongkong Import & Export Co., and will assume any and all liabilities incurred in the said business by the Transferor.
