No. S. 50.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in triplicate, which should. be clearly marked "Tender for the Supply of Mild Steel Pipes and Specials for Supplies to Albany and Peak Road", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 7th day of March, 1938.

As security for the proper performance of the works under this contract, the successful tenderer will be required to deposit with the Accountant-General the sum of $2,000 in cash.

No work will be permitted on Sundays.

For form of tender, specification and further particulars apply at this Office.

The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

NOTICE OF FIRING PRACTICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEFENCES (FIRING AREAS) ORDINANCE, 1936.

Firing practice will be carried out from D'Aguilar on 25th February, 1938, from 1000 hours to 1200 hours.

Firing area B" will be affected.

In accordance with sub-section 4 of section 4 of the Defences (Firing Areas) Ordinance, 1936, masters of vessels and pilots of aircraft exempt from the operation of this Ordinance under section 10, are warned to assist in the carrying out of the firing practice by hastening through the firing area affected, or by consenting to be towed out of the firing area, if necessary, by any vessel acting under the orders of the Military Authorities.
