The rainfall for the mouth of September at the Botanical Gardens was 29ius. 40 on 16 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 33ius. 30 on 13 days, at Fauling, 21ins. 05 on 11 days, at the Royal Naval Hospital, Hong Kong, 30ins. 50 on 13 days, and at the Police Station. Taipo, 32ius. 56 on 13 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29s. 732 at 5 and 6h on the 16th.
The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 57 miles per hour at 8h. 40m. on the 15th.
