The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was ins. 51 on 7 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was lins. 31 on 8 days, at Fanling, it was 2ins. 15 on 4 days, at the Royal Naval Hospital, Hong Kong, it was 1ins. 09 on 5 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 2ins. 14 on 8 days.

The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 828 at 16h on the 26th. The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 48 miles per hour at 8h. 46m. on the 10th.
