HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 1069.-Information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-

On Friday, the 28th December, 1906:

From Belcher F. O., in a North-Westerly direction, at ranges up to 10,000

yards, commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the 28th, 29th and 30th January, 1907:

From Albion Battery, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,

commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

On Thursday, the 31st January, Friday and Saturday, the 1st and 2nd Feb. :-

From Lyemun and Devils Peak, in a North-Easterly direction, at ranges up

to 8,000 yards, commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the 4th, 5th and 6th February:-

From Albion Battery, in a Westerly direction, at ranges up to 6,000 yards,

commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the 7th, 8th and 9th February:-

From Lyemun, in a North-Easterly direction, at ranges up to 8,000 yards,

commencing at 7 p.m., and finishing at 9.30 p.m.

If the weather is unfavourable on any of the above dates, practice will take place on the following day.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.

HOKKAIDO.

NOTICE is hereby given that, the Illuminated Are of Inabo-Misaki Lighthouse, Northern Point of Okushiri-Shima, Province of Shiribeshi, Hokkaido, has been changed as follows:-

From N. 77° 20′ E., through E., S. and W., to N. 17° 30′ W. These bearings are in magnetic being taken from seaward.
