Regulation made by the Officer Administering the Government in Council under section 8 of the Dentistry Ordinance, 1914, Ordinance No. 16 of 1914, this 3rd day of October, 1918.

The Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 8 of the Dentistry Ordinance, 1914, Ordinance No. 16 of 1914, on the 28th January, 1915, and published in the Gazette on the 29th January, 1915, as Government Notification No. 33 as amended by the Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 5th August, 1915, and published in the Gazette on the 6th August, 1915, as Government Notification No. 352 and as further amended by the Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 10th September, 1915, and published in the Gazette on the 10th September, 1915, as Government Notification No. 403 and as further amended by the Regulations made by the Governor in Council on the 11th October, 1917, and published in the Gazette on the 12th October, 1917, as Government Notification No. 451 are hereby amended by the between the words Pennsylvania" insertion in Regulation 9 of the word "Illinois and "or" in the second line thereof.

Regulation made by the Officer Administering the Government in Council under section 3 of the Licensing Ordinance, 1887, Ordinance No. 8 of 1887, this 10th day of October, 1918.

The Conditions of Hawkers Licences prescribed by the Governor in Council under Section 3 of the Licensing Ordinance, 1887, and as published on pages 346 to 356 of "The Regulations of Hongkong, 1914", are hereby amended by the deletion on page 349 of the said regulations of the words "Western Boundary-Graham Street and Hing Lung Street" under the heading "Central Market and the substitution therefor of the following "Western Boundary-Graham Street, Hing Lung Street to Des Voeux Road Central, along Des Voeux Road Central to Gilman Street and Gilman Street to the Harbour front" and by the addition of the following streets and lanes to the list of the streets and lanes lying within the boundaries mentioned therein :-

Connaught Road between Pottinger Street and Gilman Street.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.

No. 392. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint IP SAM (E) to be a "Forest Officer" for the control and superintendence of the forests of the Colony, in succession to CHU MING (BA) resigned, with effect from the 5th October, 1918.

No. 393. His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint Mr. LESLIE JAMES BLACKBURN to be a Temporary 2nd Lieutenant in the Hongkong Defence Corps, with effect from the 7th October, 1918.

11th October, 1918.

No. 394.-- His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, Mr. STANLEY HUDSON DODWELL to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council during the absence from the Colony of the Honourable Mr. EDWARD SHELLIM or until further notice, with effect from this date.
