No. 595.-His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct under section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Mr. CHALES SIMPSON ATWELL be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 593 of the 15th November, 1929.

Regulations made by the Governor in Council under section 2 of the Public Places Regulation Ordinance, 1870, Ordinance No. 2 of 1870, on the 20th day of November, 1929.

Yaumati Typhoon Refuge Promenade.

1. In these regulations "the Promenade" means the mole of the Yaumati Typhoon Refuge, extending from Saigon Street to the southern entrance of such Refuge.

2. All persons using the Promenade shall conduct themselves in a quiet, decent, and orderly manner.

3. No person shall put his feet on, or lie on any seat.

4. No kites shall be flown on or from the Promenade.

5. No person shall expectorate on the Promenade.

6. No person shall use the Promenade unless fully and properly clothed and shod.

7. No person shall throw or deposit any litter, paper, or rubbish upon the Pro- menade.

8. No person shall loiter on or at the approaches to the Promenade so as to cause obstruction.

9. No person shall sit or lie on any part of the sea wall on the Promenade.

10. No cargo shall be discharged from craft on to the Promenade.

11. No craft shall make fast to, lie alongside, or moor within 25 feet, of the Pro- menade except when typhoon signals are hoisted.
