Order made by the Governor in Council under section 7 of the Rating Ordinance, 1901, Ordinance No. 6 of 1901, this 8th day of November, 1929.
It is hereby ordered that a valuation of the tenements in the Colony for the year commencing 1st July, 1930, shall be made before the 30th day of April, 1930, or as soon thereafter as may be.

COLONIAL SECRETARY'S DEPARTMENT.
No. 584. The Pension Minute is hereby amended as follows,—
1. Clause No. 2 is amended,—
(a) by the substitution of "Subject to the provisions of this Minute, every Judge of the Supreme Court" for "Subject as aforesaid, every Judge. of the Supreme Court", in line 1 of paragraph 1; and
(b) by the insertion of or in case his service as aforesaid commenced after
the 31st December, 1901, £1,300, whichever shall be the less between 'forty-sixtieths" and "is reached in the last line of para- graph 1; and

(e) by the substitution of "Subject as aforesaid, a Judge of the Supreme Court" for "A Judge of the Supreme Court", in line 1 of paragraph 2; and
(d) by the addition of "or, in case his service previous to his becoming a Judge commenced after the 31st December, 1901, £1,300, whichever shall be the less to and at the end of paragraph 2, next after "Judge ".

2. Clause No. 8 is amended by the substitution of "In no case shall the pension granted under this Minute to any officer appointed after the 31st December, 1901, exceed £1,300 per annum.
