3. The Hon. Colonial Secretary, (Mr. DAVID WILLIAM TRATMAN) took the oath of

allegiance on taking his seat as a Member of Council.

5. The Colonial Secretary laid on the table the Report of the Finance Committee

(No. 13), dated the 23rd September, 1929, and moved its adoption.

6. British Mercantile Marine Uniform Bill.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the First reading of a Bill intituled "An Ordinance to make provisions with respect to the British Mercantile Marine Uniform."
