The rainfall for the month of September at the Botanical Gardens was 9ins. 41 on 16 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 7ins, 07 on 14 days, at the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club, Fanling, it was 3. 68 on 10 days, at the Royal Naval Hospital, Hong Kong, it was 7ins. 38 on 16 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 9ins. 55 on 10 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 668 at 17h on the 8th.
The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 55 miles per hour at 6jh. 26m. on the 1st and at 2h 30m on the 5th.
