EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

No. 316. It is hereby notified that Mr. JAMES WILLIAM WHITE, Assistant Engineer, has been deputed by His Excellency the Governor in Council to act on behalf of the Building Authority in all cases referred to in Sections 205, 206, 207 and 207A of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, in connection with Dangerous Buildings.

No. 317. His Excellency the Governor in Council has been pleased to direct, under Section 7 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903, Ordinance No. 1 of 1903, that the name of Mr. JAMES WILLIAM WHITE be added to the List of Authorized Architects published in Government Notification No. 155 of the 26th April, 1918.

Order made by the Governor in Council under sections 3 and 4 of the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, Ordinance No. 32 of 1915, on the 22nd day of August,

1918.

The Schedule to Rule 41 of the rules made by the Governor in Council under the above Ordinance is amended as follows:-

(1) The following headings are deleted :-

Chemicals, &c., the following:--

(B) Antimony, sulphides and oxides of; (c) Araroba or Goa powder;

(c) Chrysarobin ;

(c) Liquorice roots and juice.

(2) The following headings are added :-

Chemicals, &c., the following:-

(B) Aconite root;

(B) Ajowan seeds ;

(B) Antimony, sulphides and oxides of, and mixtures containing sulphides or ox-

ides of antimony;

(B) Araroba or Goa powder;

(B) Calumba root;

(B) Catechu;

(B) Chrysarobin;

(B) Liquorice root and juice;

(B) Nux vomica ;

(B) Nux vomica, preparations of;

(B) Quassia wood;

Cotton, manufactures of, the following:--

(B) Typewriter cloth and fine cotton cambrics, in the grey, from 40 to 50 inches wide and weighing from 11⁄2 ounces to ounces per square yard;

(B) Nails, wrought and cut, iron or steel;

(B) Tin plate scrap, including scrapped and disused receptacles wholly or partly made of tin plate.
