At the end of paragraph 33 the following words shall be inserted :---

Every aircraft when flying beneath clouds shall always do so, so far as it is safe and practicable, at such a distance below the clouds as will enable it readily to see and be seen.”

At the end of the italic heading of the Section there shall be inserted the words “

open to public use.'

After paragraph 48 there shall be inserted the following new paragraph :—· "48A. The Governor may by directions temporarily suspend the application of all or any of the rules contained in this Section with reference to any aerodrome in the Colony which is open to public use. At any aerodrome in respect of which all or any of the rules contained in this Section are for the time being so suspended as aforesaid, a red square panel each side of which is at least 3 yards in length, shall be placed horizontally near to the signal in that aerodrome which indicates the direction of the wind."

No. 409.-In connexion with the Air Navigation (Colonies, Protectorates and Mandated Territories) Order, 1927, and the Air Navigation (Colonies, Protectorates and Mandated Territories) (Amendment) Order, 1929, and the list B.-States which have ratified, or adhered to, the International Air Navigation Convention, 13th October, 1919, set forth in Government Notification No. 431 in the Gazette of the 27th July, 1928, the following addition has been made to such list, under the sub-heading "Adherence", from the 22nd August, 1928, namely, -Holland.

No. 410. The following Finding of the Marine Court of Enquiry held on the 9th and 10th August, 1929, to enquire into the circumstances attending the stranding of the British Steamship Lok Sun, is published for general information.

FINDING.

We find that the S.S. Lok Sun Official No. 153,555 of Hong Kong of which Mr. Herbert Robert Edmondson who holds Certificate of Competency as Master No. 007350 of Liverpool was Master proceeded on a voyage from Hong Kong to Singapore leaving Hong Kong at 11.3 p.m. on July 13th, and that she grounded on a rock called Sa Mun San, South of Gauze Island at 1 a.m. on July 14th.
