9. Widows' and Orphans' Pension Amendment Bill.-Council then went into Com- mittee to continue consideration of the Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend further the Widows' and Orphans' Pension Ordinance, 1908."

On Council resuming the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

The Colonial Secretary seconded.

Question-put and agreed to.

10. Supplementary Appropriation Bill.-The Colonial Secretary moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled “An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation Supplementary Sum of Two hundred and ninety-two thousand one hundred and four Dollars and seventy-nine Cents to defray the Charges of the year 1928."
