The rainfall for the month of June at the Botanical Gardens was 5ins. 31 on 17 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 3ins. 64 on 17 days, at the Royal Hong Kong Golf Club, Fanling, it was 4ins. 11 on 14 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 4ins. 07 on 14 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 546 at 17h on the 30th.
The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 43 miles per hour at 13h. 51m. on the 23rd.
