No. 348.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. THOMAS MAYNARD HAZLERIGG, M.C., to act as a Police Magistrate in addition to his other duties, with effect from 8th July, 1929.

The Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899.
No. 349. Whereas by section 21 of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance, 1899, it is enacted that the Governor may declare by notification certain places in the waters of the Colony to be ports, and no mnaster of any ship or junk shall, except from stress of weather or some other sufficient cause, anchor at any other place in the waters of the Colony;
And whereas the ports set forth in Table W in the Schedule to the Merchant Ship- ping Ordinance, 1899, have been so declared:
Now, by this notification, His Excellency the Governor doth declare Tsun Wan to be a port, in addition to the ports above referred to.
