The Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1900.
No. 300.- It is hereby notified, under section 6 of the Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1900, Ordinance No. 10 of 1900, that the Board of Arbitrators appointed to determine the amount of compensation to be paid in respect of the resumption of Lot No. 1563 in Survey District II is constituted as follows: -
Mr. PHILIP JACKS, Justice of the Peace, Chairman.
Mr. HENRY EDWARD GOLDSMITH, nominated by His Excellency the Governor. Mr. ALFRED JAMES LANE, nominated by the Chairman on behalf of the owner.
It is hereby further notified that the Chairman hereby appoints Tuesday, the 18th day of June, 1929, at 2.15 o'clock in the afternoon, at the Land Office, Supreme Court House, Hong Kong, as the time and place for the Board to commence its sittings.
Any person claiming compensation, whether as owner or otherwise, by reason of such resumption must, before the commencement of the sittings of the Board, transmit to the Colonial Secretary for transmission to the Board a written claim, stating the nature of his right or interest in the land and the amount which he seeks to recover.
