SPECIAL CONDITIONS.
1. The annual Crown Rent mentioned in the Particulars of Sale is subject to re- assessment at the end of the first three years of the term for which the Lot is sold, and thereafter such rent shall be paid as shall be fairly and impartially fixed by the Surveyor to His Majesty the KING, or by such other person as shall be appointed by the Governor of Hongkong for that purpose, as the fair and reasonable rental value of the Ground at the expiration of the said period of three years and a special proviso to that effect shall be inserted in the Crown Lease of the said Lot.
2. The Purchaser shall not have or be entitled to any right of access to the sea, or to any water which may be near to the sail Lot, or on which the same abuts, or to any com- pensation whatever in the event of any reclamation being made between any part of the said Lot and such sea and water, and a special proviso to this effect shall be inserted in the Crown Lease of the Lot.
3. No building shall be erected on the Lot.
4. The Purchaser shall not during the term for which the Lot is sold permit or allow the land to remain uncultivated according to the custom of the country for a con- tinuous period of five consecutive years at any time after the expiration of 3 years from the commencement of the said term of 21 years and a Covenant by the Purchaser to that effect shall be inserted in the Crown Lease of the Lot.
5. The Purchaser shall within 3 years of the date of sale construct proper embank- ments on the South East and South West sides of the Lot to the satisfaction of the Assistant Land Officer and shall expend thereon or in such other improvements as may be approved of by the Assistant Land Officer a sum of not less than $2,000.

No. 1029. It is hereby notified that the following Sale of Crown Land by Publie Auction will be held at the District Land Office, Hongkong, at 2.30 p.m., on Friday, the 4th day of January, 1907.
The Lots are sold for the term of 75 years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent as Building Lots subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notifica- tion No. 365 of 1906 and to the Special Condition hereunder specified.

SPECIAL CONDITION.
The Purchaser of any lot shall not have or be entitled to any right of access to the sea, or to any water which may be near the said lots or on which the same abut, or to any compensation whatever in the event of any reclamation being made between any part of the said lots and such sea or water; and a special proviso to this effect shall be inserted in the Crown Leases of these lots.
