The rainfall for the month of February at the Botanical Gardens was 0in. 70 on 7 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was Oin. 66 on 8 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was (in. 77 on 3 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 927 at 3h on the 23rd.
The maximum gust velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 50 miles per hour at 2h. 20m. on the 25th.
