Resolution passed by the Legislative Council under section 31 (1) of the Rating

Ordinance, 1901, on 20th December, 1928.

Resolution passed by the Legislative Council under section 31 (2) of the Rating

4. The Colonial Secretary laid ou the table the Reports of the Finance Committee (Nos. 13 and 14), dated 20th December, 1928, and 27th December, 1928, respectively, and moved their adoption.

5. Larceny Amendment Bill.-The Attorney General moved the Second reading of

the Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend the Larceny Ordinance, 1865.” The Colonial Secretary seconded.

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

6. Magistrates Amendment Bill. The Attorney General moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled "An Ordinance to amend the Magistrates Ordinance, 1890."
