And whereas it is expedient that the said amendment made provisionally by Order of His Majesty in Council dated the 16th day of November, 1917, should be brought into operation in this Colony :

NOW THEREFORE I Sir FRANCIS HENRY MAY Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander-in- Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same do hereby proclaim the said amendment of the said Rules in this Colony.

Giveu under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony at Victoria Hongkong this 15th day of February 1918.

No. 60. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to make the following appointments under Section 19 of the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance, 1903 :-
