Order made by the Governor in Council under section 7 of the Rating Ordinance, 1901, Ordinance No. 6 of 1901, this 4th day of October, 1928.
It is hereby ordered that a valuation of the tenements in the Colony for the year commencing 1st July, 1929, shall be made before the 30th day of April, 1929, or as soon thereafter as may be.

Rule made by the Governor in Council under section 18 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1899, Ordinance No. 4 of 1899, on the 4th day of October, 1928.
The Prison rules made by the Governor in Council under section 18 of the Prisons Ordinance, 1899, and set forth on pages 181-257 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844-1925, are hereby further amended by the rescission of rule 331 (on page 244) and the substitution therefor of the following rule,-

Marks to 331. The earning of marks and grant of remission shall extend to prisoners who, having been granted licences under the Prevention of Crimes Ordinance, 1887, and having forfeited such licences, are serving the remanets of former sentences.
