EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

Government Notification No. 296 of the 3rd day of May, 1928, is hereby cancelled and the following substituted :-
Regulation made by the Governor in Council under section 3 of the Licensing Ordi- nance, 1887, Ordinance No. 8 of 1887, on the 3rd day of May, 1928.
The second Schedule to the regulations relating to hawkers licences, made by the Governor in Council and set forth on page 131 of the Regulations of Hong Kong, 1844- 1925, is hereby amended by the deletion of condition 13 and the substitution therefor of the following:-
13. Hawkers are not permitted to use or utter cries or make other noises for the purposes of buying or selling their wares or of attracting attention to their trade in the following roads, streets and areas :---
(1) City of Victoria:-
(a) In Bonham, Caine, Upper Albert and Kennedy Roads and the
areas to the south thereof.
(b) Within an area bounded on the north by the Harbour, on the south by Upper Albert Road and Caine Road, on the west by Old Bailey Street, Cochrane Street and Jubilee Street to the Harbour, and on the east by Murray Road and Garden Road to Kennedy Road.
(c) Within the area Wanchai Road from Queen's Road East to Tin Lok Lane, Tin Lok Lane to Morrison Hill Road, Morrison Hill Road to Leighton Hill Road, Leighton Hill Road and Caroline Road to the Polo Ground, across the Polo Ground in front of Moreton Terrace, through Sookunpo Recreation Ground to Caroline Hill Road, Caroline Hill Road to Leighton Hill Road, Wong Nei Chung Road and Morrison Gap Road to Wanchai Road, taking in Leighton Hill, Broadwood Road, Wong Nei Chung village, Ventris Road, Shing Woo Road and Village Road.
(d) Stubbs Road.
(2) In the Hill District :—
The whole of the Hill District.
(3) Kowloon Peninsula :·
Within the area Canton Road from the Star Ferry to Austin Road, Austin Road to Nathan Road, Nathan Road to Prince Edward Road, along Prince Edward Road to Waterloo Road, Waterloo Road to No. 4 Bridge at Ho Mun Tin, along the Railway to No. 2 Bridge, thence along the seashore to the Star Ferry, taking in the whole of Kowloon Tong, Kowloon Hospital and Ho Mun Tin.
