The rainfall for the month of May at the Botanical Gardens was 19ins. 13 on 20 days, at the Matilda Hospital, Mount Kellett, it was 16ius. 72 on 18 days, and at the Police Station, Taipo, it was 13ins. 61 on 19 days.
The lowest reading of the barometer (M.S.L.) was 29ins. 651 at 17h. on the 11th.
The maximum squall velocity, as recorded by the Dines-Baxendell anemograph, was at the rate of 42 miles per hour at 21h. 08m. on the 1st.
