His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint, provisionally and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, Mr. WILLIAM EDWARD LEONARD SHENTON to be a Member of the Executive and Legislative Councils, vice the Honourable Mr. DALLAS GERALD MERCER BERNARD, resigned, with effect from the 3rd April, 1928.

No. 181.-His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Dr. WILLIAM BROWNLOWE ASHE MOORE to act as Director of Medical and Sanitary Services and Dr. JAMES THORNTON SMALLEY to act as Deputy Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, with effect from and including 10th April, 1928.

No. 182. It is hereby notified that the Officer hitherto known as the Principal Civil Medical Officer will be known and styled the Director of Medical and Sanitary Services, with effect from and including 10th April, 1928.
No. 183. With reference to Government Notification No. 473 of 19th August, 1927, it is hereby notified that the denunciation of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation with the United States of Mexico has been suspended for a further six months, i.e., until the 30th of June, 1928.
