Ordinance No. 19 of 1927.-- An Ordinance to amend the General Loan and
Inscribed Stock Ordinance, 1913.
Ordinance No. 21 of 1927.-An Ordinance to make provision for regulating the keeping of dogs and for the prevention of the importation and spread of rabies.

APPOINTMENTS, &c.
No. 106.-It is hereby notified that Mr. CHARLES GORDON STEWART MACKIE having returned to the Colony has resumed his appointment as a Justice of the Peace, with effect from 7th January, 1928.

No. 107. His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Mr. BENJAMIN DAVID FLEMING BEITH to be a Justice of the Peace for the Colony of Hong Kong.

Regulation made by the General Officer Commanding the Troops, with the approval of the Governor, under and in accordance with the provisions of section 11 of the Volunteer Ordinance, 1920, Ordinance No. 2 of 1920, on the 20th day of February, 1928.
Regulation 9 in the First Schedule to the Volunteer Ordinance, 1920, is amended by the addition to paragraph (1) of the following proviso,-
"Provided further that the allowance shall be limited to outfit purchased within six months of the officer's first appointment and in respect of which an account, supported by vouchers approved by the Commandant, is promptly submitted by the officer to the Commandant."
