KIUTOAN SURVEYING BEACON.

NOTICE is hereby given that, owing to the washing away of the bank, the Kiutoan Surveying Beacon has been shifted 5.4 cables S. 87° W. from its former position.

NOTICE is hereby given that, owing to the washing away of the river bank, Shansi Point Beacon aud Two-fathom Creek Beacon have been shifted 350 yards N.E. and N.N.E, respectively from their former positions.

INDIA-EAST COAST-GULF OF MANAAR-TUTICORIN.

ALTERATION IN COLUMN.

IT is hereby notified for the information of Mariners, that from and after the 1st February, 1906, to enable the light- house to be easily located during hazy weather, the existing "Sandstone columu, coloured brown, lantern white" of the Gulf of Manaar-Tuticorin (Hare Island) light will be altered to “Masonry column with 4 alternative equal bands of white and black, white at the top."
