No. S. 287. It is hereby notified with reference to Government Notifications. Nos. 697 of 1909 and 278 of 1911 that the following Special Condition of Sale is added to the Special Conditions contained in the aforesaid Notifications and will be referred to by the Number given to it in this Notification :-
SPECIAL CONDITION.
No. 6.--No building shall be erected on the Lot until a plan of such building and a block plan shewing the position of the building on the Lot shall have been submitted. to and approved by the District Officer. A form of plan may be obtained at the District Land Office at Taipo where assistance will be given in the preparation of a block plan. In the event of the purchaser desiring to build on lines different from those shewn on the said form he shall prepare plans at his own expense and submit the same for approval as aforesaid.
The building shall be subject to the following rules:-
1. The street or open space in front of any new building shall be at least 25
feet wide.
2. Open space belonging to the owner shall be provided at the rear of every new building and such open space shall have an area at least equal to half the roofed over area of the building.
3. In addition to such open space a scavenging lane shall be provided having a
width of 6 feet.
4. The depth of any new building shall not exceed 35 feet unless sufficient
lateral windows are provided.
5. The height of any building shall not exceed 25 feet nor shall any building excced 2 storeys in height. No storey shall be less than 10 feet in height.
6. The ground floor of any new building shall be at least 6 inches above the
level of the adjoining ground.
7. Proper channels and sumps shall be provided for sullage water.
NOTE.
The above conditions shall only be applicable in case of sales of building sites in the following districts :---Castle Peak: Yun Long Market: Tai Po Market: Sai Kung Market: The On Lok Village arca and any other site in the vicinity of the Sha Tau Kok Light Railway to which it shall be considered desirable to apply it.

No. S. 288.--It is hereby notified that the following Sales of Crown Land by Public Auction will be held at the Police Station, Au Tau, at 10 a.m., on Thursday, the 22nd day of November, 1917.
The Lots are sold for the term of Seventy-five years from the 1st day of July, 1898, with the right of renewal for a further term of 24 years less 3 days at a re-assessed Crown Rent, as Agricultural Lots, subject to the General Conditions of Sale published in Government Notification No. 365 of 1906 and to the Special Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 published in Government Notification No. 697 of 1909 and No. 5 published in Govern- ment Notification No. 278 of 1911 and also to the Special Condition hereunder specified.
