EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.

Regulation made by the Governor-in-Council under the provisions of Section 3 of the Licensing Ordinance 1887, (Ordinance No. 8 of 1887), this 19th day of October, 1906.

Regulation No. 2 of the Regulations made by the Governor-in-Council on the 24th day of July, 1899, and published in Government Notification No. 435 of 1899, is hereby amended by the omission therefrom of the words "No licences shall be issued for more than 600 rickshas within the Island of Hongkong."

The Regulations published in Government Notifications Nos. 434 of 1900, 159 and 353 of 1901, and 781 of 1902 are hereby repealed.

His Excellency the Governor addressed the Council regarding the death of the late Harbour Master the Honourable Captain BARNES LAWRENCE.
