NOTICES are hereby given that Fort No. 2 Staff Light, and Ashika Jima Beacon Light, Gulf of Tokyo, have been destroyed by the hurricane which occured on the 1st of October, 1917.

Further Notices will be given after the rebuilding of the above Light.

Outer Barrier Reef.

One-and-Half-Mile Opening-Beacon Established.

WITH reference to Notice No. 13 of 1917, Mariners and others are hereby notified that the beacon near the One-and-Half-Mile Opening has been established.

Position.--About 14 miles West of the outer end of the Opening.

Latitude, 14° 22' S.; Longitude, 145° 23′ E.

Description. A red triangular beacon. The top of the beacon is 30 feet above high

water.
