New Lights Established.
Silangan Pass-East Coast of Luzon.
October 1st, 1917.
AN automatic acetylene light, showing one white flash every five (5) seconds was established September 18, 1917, on the edge of the reef northeastward of Roma Point, Silangan Pass, East Coast of Luzon. The light is shown from a white concrete beacon 31 feet above high water and is visible from a distance of ten (10) miles. Position and are of visibility will be published later.
The automatic acetylene gas buoy formerly shown in Silangan Pass has been dis- continued.
Port Balanacan-Northwest Coast of Marinduque.
An automatic acetylene flashing light, showing one white flash every five (5) seconds, was established September 22, 1917, at Port Balanacan, Northwest Coast of Marinduque Island. The light is shown from a white concrete beacon located on the coast about 32 meters north of Yellow Bluff. Height of light above mean high water, 45 feet; above ground, 28 feet. The light is visible all around except where obscured by land, and from a distance of twelve (12) miles.
