Pescador Island---Tañon Strait.
An automatic acetylene flashing light, showing one white flash every five (5) seconds, was established August 16, 1917, at Pescador Island, Southwestern part of Cebu, Tañon Strait. The light is shown from a white concrete pillar set about the center of the Island. Height of light above mean high water, 59 feet; and from base of structure to center of lantern, 29 feet. The light is visible through all approaches by water thereto, and from a distance of thirteen (13) miles.

Amblan Point Tañon Strait.
An automatic acetylene flashing light, showing one white flash every ten (10) seconds, was established August 17, 1917, at Amblan Point, Southeastern part of Negros, Tañon Strait. The light is shown from a white concrete pillar erected on the beach of the point. Height of light above mean high water, 32 feet; and from base of structure to center of lantern, 29 fect. The light is visible over an are of 188° from S. 40° E. to N. 33° W. Distance of visibility, 11 miles.

Characteristic of Light Changed.
The fixed red light at Cotabato, Southwest Point of Northern entrance to the Rio Grande de Mindanao, has been replaced on August 20, 1917, by an automatic acetylene light, showing one white flash every live (5) seconds. Position, height, are and range of visibility remain the same.

Mindanao North Coast-Kolambugan Bay: Range Lights Installed.
Red fixed lights have been installed on the range marks of Migeaniguing Point, Kolambugan Bay, on August 28, 1917, to mark the entrance at night time. Lights in range bearing 194° will lead in between shoals giving Loculan and Pangulinan Shoals each a berth of about 2/5 of a mile. Rear light is about 77 feet above mean high water to center of lantern. Distance of visibility, 7 miles.
