NOTICE is hereby given that S. C. ISMAIL & Co., of Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, have on the 11th day of June, 1917, applied for the registration in Hongkong, in the Register of Trade Marks, of the following Trade Mark:

The representation of two ladies gathering tea leaves in a tea garden, the words “Chui Cha To on top and our firm's name in Chinese on the bottom. The

in the uame of S. C.-ISMAIL & Co., who claim to be the proprietors thereof,
The above Trade Mark is intended to be used by the applicants forthwith in respect of Cotton piece goods of all kinds, in Class 21.
A representation of the said Trade Mark is deposited for inspection in the Register of Trade Marks.

The said Trade Mark has not hitherto been used by the said CHAN HING LAN but it is their intention so to use it forthwith in respect of the following goods :-
Manufactured and unmanufactured Chinese Tobacco, in Class 45.
The said Chax HING LAN disclaim the right to the exclusive use of the letters "C. H. L.”
