Notice is hereby given under Section 3 of the Foreshores and Sea Bed Ordinance, 1901, that all persons having any objections to the granting of the leases as above described must send in particulars of their objections in writing to the Colonial Secretary before the expiration of a period of one month from the 16th March, 1917, and all such objections will be considered by the Governor in Council.
And notice is also given that if after the expiration of such period of one month the Governor in Council shall declare it to be expedient to grant leases of the said Lots, the said proposed sale will be proceeded with, at the Offices of the Public Works Department, on Monday, the 30th day of April, 1917, at 3 p.m., and that the Crown leases of the Lots shall be deemed to demise to the lessees the foreshores or sea beds included in such leases free and discharged from all rights, privileges, profits-à-prendre, and easements, whether public or private, which may have existed or may be claimed in or over such foreshores and sea beds, so far as is necessary for carrying out the purposes for which the lands are leased.

ALL outgoing and incoming steamers and steam-launches are hereby warned that when passing Holt's Wharves, which are under construction with divers working, they must not pass within a distance of 200 yards of them and must slow down their speed to 4 knots.

Ocean Steamers prohibited from entering Harbour Limits during the night. Prohibition withdrawn.
REFERRING to Harbour Notification No. 4 of 1914, dated the 24th day of September, Notice is hereby given that the restriction against Ocean Steamers entering the Harbour Limits of Canton between sunset and sunrise is withdrawn.
The special Regulations governing the movements of Guaranteed River Steamers, however, are not affected by this Notification.
