It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for the supply of Clothing to the Post Office Department", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Friday, the 9th day of March, 1917, for the making up and supply of Clothing for the use of the General Post Office for the year 1917.
For further particulars apply at this Office.
Tenderers must produce a receipt that they have deposited in the Colonial Treasury the sum of $25 as a pledge of the bona fides of their tender, which sum shall be forfeited to the Crown if any tenderer fails or refuses to carry out his tender, should such tender be accepted.
The Government does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. BAUL

It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in duplicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for May Road Public Convenience", will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 19th day of March, 1917, for the erection of a Public Trough Closet and Chair Shelter near the Peak Tramway Station on May Road.
No work will be permitted on Sundays.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chinese S.S. Kwong Tai is reported as lying sünk in the Siu Siang Gorge.
The approximate position of the wreck is given as one mile South of the Lo Kong Joss House, and close to the East bank.
