(2.) The powers conferred by this Ordinance shall be in addition to those conferred by any other enactment.

Objects and Reasons.
It is desirable to make it clear that the powers con- ferred by Ordinance No 6 of 1913 are to be in addition to those conferred by any other enactment. This object is proposed to be effected by the addition of the appro-· priate words to the clause which at present appears as section 2 of Ordinance No. 6 of 1913. As that Ordi- nance is short and has already been amended once it seems to be the more convenient course to repeal it and the amending Ordinance and to re-enact the provisions of those two Ordinances with the above addition.
