NOTICE is hereby given that a General

Meeting of the above-named Company will be held at the Office of Messrs. Lowe, BINGHAM & MATTHEWS, New Government Build- ing, Victoria, in the Colony of Hongkong, on Monday, the 19th day of February, 1917, at 12.30 p.m. precisely, for the purpose of having the account of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the Winding-up has been conducted and the property of the Company disposed of, laid before such meeting, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and to pass his remuneration and also to pass the following Extraordinary Resolution, viz. :---

"That the Books, Accounts and Documents of the Company, and of the Liquidator thereof be retained by the Liquidator, he undertaking to destroy the same at the expiration of twelve months from the dissolution of the Company." Hongkong, 19th January, 1917.

Application for Registration of a Trade Mark.

The representation of an agricultural scene with 2 Chinese labourers beating Corn with a flail. Above are Chinese characters repesenting the applicants' name and "Flail Trade Mark". Be- low is the applicants' name in English in the name of H. SKOTT & COMPANY, who claim to be the sole proprietors thereof.

The Trade Mark is intended to be used by the Applicants in respect of "Cloths and stuffs of wool worsted or hair", in Class 34, "Cotton Piece Goods", in Class 24 and "Articles of Clothing", in Class 38.
