No. 828-It is hereby notified that the Registers of Births and Deaths kept at Sham Shui Po Police Station containing records from the 1st July to the 18th September of the present year have been destroyed in the typhoon which occurred on the latter date.

No. 829.-Notice is hereby given that WILLIAM NICHOLSON, C/o. Butterfield & Swire, Assistant, has on the 25th day of September, 1906, applied for the registration in Hongkong in the register of Proprietors of Copyright in Paintings, Drawings and Photographs of a Series of 6 Storm Photographs, taken 18th September, 1906, in the name of WILLIAM NICHOLSON who claims to be the proprietor thereof.

A facsimile of the said 6 Storm Photographs can be seen at the Office of the Registrar General of Hongkong.

HARBOUR MASTER'S DEPARTMENT.

No. 830.—Information has been received from the Military Authorities that Gun Practice will be carried out as under:-

On Friday, the 5th October:--

From Sanatorium, in a Southerly direction, at ranges up to 10,000 yards,

commencing at 9.30 a.m., and finishing at 12 noon.

If the weather is unfavourable on the above date, practice will take place on the follow- ing day.

All ships, junks and other vessels are to keep clear of the ranges.
