CONTRACTS (WAR RESTRICTIONS) BILL.-The Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to make provision with regard to the effect on certain contracts of certain requirements regulations and restrictions rendered necessary by the present war, was held over until the next meeting of the Council.
Ferries Bill. The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to regulate Ferries.
The Colonial Secretary seconded.
Question-put and agreed to.

Council in Committee on the Bill.
On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.

FIRE AND MARINE INSURANCE COMPANIES DEPOSIT BILL.-The Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to provide for the making of deposits by certain persons firms and companies carrying on fire or marine insurance business, was held over until the next meeting of the Council.
PENSION AMENDMENT BILL.-The Attorney General addressed the Council and moved the Second reading of the Bill intituled An Ordinance to amend the Pension Ordinance, 1862.
The Colonial Secretary seconded.
Question-put and agreed to.
Bill read a second time.

On Council resuming, the Attorney General reported that the Bill had passed through Committee without amendment and moved that it be read a third time.
