WHEREAS by rule 48 of the rules made by the Governor in Council under the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, certain obliga- tions have been imposed on the licensees of launches and motor boats :
Now the condition of this obligation is that if the above-bounden (licensee) shall duly observe all the provisions of the said rule then this obligation is to be void but otherwise to remain in full force and effect.

NOTE. 1.The object of the proposed Rule 48 is to prevent the surreptitious exportation of launches and motor boats. An adequate number of small craft of this description is essential to the life of the Colony and if that number were unduly depleted now it would be difficult to remedy the deficiency under present conditions.
