III. Rule 48, which was published in the Gazette of the 27th October, 1916, is

repealed.

NOTE

-The amendment of Rule 30 bas the effect of making intoxicating liquors and raw opium subject to Rule 41 which deals with the exportation of military stores.

NOTE 2.-The existing prohibitions against exportation from the United Kingdom to Switzerland are contained in the proclamation of the 13th March, 1917, which was published in the London Gazette of the 13th March, 1917, as amended by the Order in Council of the 10th August, 1917, which was published in the London Gazette of the 10th August, 1917, and in the proclamation of the 13th June, 1917, which was published in the London Gazette of the 15th June, 1917.

NOTE 3.--The repeal of Rule 48 will have the effect of making tobacco subject to all the Importa- tion and Exportation Rules.
