RESOLUTION.His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government addressed the Council and moved the following Resolution :

This Council desires to express its heartfelt sympathy with the Government of the Chinese Republic in the disastrous floods which have devastated an immense arez of country in the Province of Chihli and hereby votes a sum of $100,000 as a contribution towards the relief of the suffering caused by this calamity.
