Regulation made by the Governor in Council under Section 6 of the Dogs Ordinance, 1893, Ordinance No. 5 of 1893, this 18th day of October, 1917.

Until further notice no dogs brought from Shanghai or from ports in China north of Shanghai will be permitted to land in this Colony.

Order made by the Governor in Council under Sections 3 and 4 of the Importation and Exportation Ordinance, 1915, Ordinance No. 32 of 1915, on the 18th day of October,

1917.

The rules made by the Governor in Council under the above Ordinance, which were published in the Gazettes of the 7th, 14th and 21st January, the 7th April, the 5th May, the 16th and 23rd June, the 28th July, the 18th and 25th August, the 1st, 22nd, and 29th September, the 13th, 20th, and 27th (2) October, the 17th November, and the 1st, 8th, and 15th December, 1916, the 19th January, the 2nd and 30th March, the 27th April, the 11th and 25th May, the 8th June, the 13th July, the 10th August, the 7th and 21st September, and the 5th October, 1917, are amended as follows:-

1. Rule 41, which was published in the Gazette of the 18th August, 1916, is

amended by the addition of the following paragraph:---

“6. Goods marked (r) to all ports and destinations in Sweden,

Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands."

2. The Schedule to Rule 41 is amended by the addition of the following

heading:---

“(F) All articles, not prohibited already, except printed matter of all descriptions and personal effects accompanied by their

owners."

3. Rule 32, which was published in the Gazette of the 16th June, 1916, is

amended by the addition of the following words at the end thereof :-

"This rule shall not apply to the case of exportation to Sweden,

Norway, Denmark or the Netherlands."

4. Rule 34, which was published in the Gazette of the 7th April, 1916, is

amended by the addition of the following words at the end thereof :

C

This rule shall not apply to the case of exportation to Sweden,

Norway, Denmark or the Netherlands."

5. Rule 12, which was published in the Gazette of the 7th January, 1916, is

repealed.

6. Rule 47, which was published in the Gazette of the 20th October, 1916, is

repealed.

NOTE (2).-A consolidating list of articles the exportation of which is prohibited was published in the Gazette of the 10th August, 1917, and amending lists in the Gazettes of the 7th and 21st September, 1917.
