Order made by the Governor in Council under Section 16 of the Societies Ordinance, 1911, Ordinance No. 47 of 1911, this 4th day of October, 1917.
Whereas it appears to the Governor in Council that the Sze Yap Society a Society registered under Ordinance 47 of 1911 is being used for purposes incompatible with the peace or good order of the Colony :
Now therefore it is hereby ordered that the said Society be forthwith dissolved under Section 16 of Ordinance 47 of 1911.
The Honourable the Secretary for Chinese Affairs has been appointed by the Governor to wind up the said Society.

Regulation made by the Governor in Council under Section S of the Dentistry Ordi- nance, 1914, Ordinance No. 165 of 1914, on the 11th day of October, 1917.
The following regulation is added to the regulations made by the Governor in Council under the above Ordinance and published in the Gazettes of the 29th January, 6th August, and 10th September, 1915--
9. Every graduate of the dental departments of the Universities of Harvard, Pennsylvania, or Michigan, who holds a State Board certificate from the State in which the University of which he is a graduate is situated, shall be entitled to a certificate of exemption upon his satisfying the Governor in Council, with the advice of the Dental Board, that he possesses the aforesaid qualifications, that he is of good character, and that there is no reason rendering it undesirable that a certificate of exemption should be ' granted to him."
