Amendments of the Statutes of the University of Hongkong made by the Court of the University on the 1st December, 1916, and 9th February, 1917, respectively, under Section 14 of the University Ordinance, 1911, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1911), and allowed by the Governor in Council on the 15th day of March, 1917.
The Statutes of the University of Hongkong contained in the Second Schedule of the University Ordinance, 1911, (Ordinance No. 10 of 1911), are hereby amended as follows:-
1. Statute 7 (3) is repealed and the following substituted therefor :----
"A member of the Senate elected by the Senate as a member of the Council as
provided by class 3 shall hold office for two years.
2. Statute 22 is amended by the deletion of the words "A subscriber of $100,000 will in addition be made a life member of the Court. in the thirteenth and fourteenth lines and by the substitution therefor of the following 'A subscriber of more than $50,000 will in addition be made a life member of the Court.".
